It is mainly used for treating enuresis (children over 5 years old who cannot control urination on their own), dysuria (unsmooth urination), retention of urine (dribbling or inability to urinate), spermatorrhea, impotence, infertility, menstrual disorders, metrorrhagia (excessive or dribbling menstruation), yin jie (prolapse of the uterus in women or even prolapse out of the vaginal opening), and itching of the pubic area.
