The rectus abdominis muscle separation can be measured by physical examination, ultrasonography, MRI and CT examination.
1. Physical examination: the examinee should lie flat on the bed, bend the hip and knee, make the abdomen fully relaxed, the operator needs to use a ruler to measure the distance between the inner edge of the rectus abdominis muscle on both sides from top to bottom, according to the distance to determine whether the rectus abdominis muscle is separated or not.
2. Ultrasonography: Ultrasonography can be used in the hospital to visually determine whether the rectus abdominis muscle is separated.
3. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR): NMR can more accurately determine whether the rectus abdominis muscle is separated or not, but the disadvantage is that the cost is higher.
4. CT examination: CT examination can also determine whether the rectus abdominis muscle is separated more accurately, and the CT results can be used to evaluate the effect of rehabilitation.
