The treatment of chronic erosive gastritis includes improvement of lifestyle and medication such as eradication of Helicobacter pylori, acid-suppressing drugs, and gastric mucosal protectants.
1. Improvement of lifestyle: pay attention to light diet, avoid spicy and stimulating food, so as to reduce the stimulation of gastric mucosa. Quit drinking alcohol, strong tea and coffee. Avoid overeating. Exercise moderately to improve the rhythm of gastrointestinal peristalsis and promote digestion.
2. Medication:
(1) Drugs to eradicate Helicobacter pylori: If Helicobacter pylori is present, drugs such as amoxicillin, bismuth pectin, metronidazole and omeprazole can be given to eradicate Helicobacter pylori in order to avoid the occurrence of celiac disease.
(2) Acid-suppressing drugs: commonly used drugs such as omeprazole and rabeprazole can suppress acid and relieve the symptoms of stomach pain and acid reflux.
(3) Gastric mucosal protective agents: commonly used drugs such as aluminum sulfate, bismuth pectin, etc., to promote the healing of the erosion.
If diagnosed with chronic erosive gastritis, early standardized treatment is recommended to reduce the adverse effects of the disease. All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
