The overall survival period of peritoneal metastasis of colon cancer is about 1 year, which should be analyzed in combination with the metastatic lesions and treatment plan. When peritoneal metastasis occurs in colon cancer patients, most of them belong to advanced stage, and the cancer cells have already metastasized and spread to distal organs and lymph nodes, so it is difficult to treat them, and the treatment is mainly based on radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy, but basically it can prolong the survival time of the patients. If peritoneal metastasis occurs in colon cancer, the overall survival period is about one year, and the five-year survival rate is about 10%, which should be determined by combining with the patient’s treatment plan and lesions. If the patient has single site, single metastasis and is sensitive to radiotherapy, the treatment effect is better and the survival period will be longer; however, if there are multiple sites of metastasis and the treatment is not sensitive, the survival period will be shorter, and it may only be a few months. It is suggested that patients with peritoneal metastasis of colon cancer should go to the hospital in time, and standardized treatment and early treatment can prolong the survival period.
