The swelling of the face after wisdom teeth extraction usually takes about 3 to 5 days to go down, and the specific time for the swelling to go down needs to be determined according to the size of the incision of the extracted tooth, postoperative care and other circumstances.
1. Extraction wound damage: clinically, due to the existence of a variety of abnormal growth of some wisdom teeth, so in the process of removing wisdom teeth there will be a different degree of trauma, generally orthodontic eruption of the wisdom teeth wound damage is small, the swelling of the time for more than 2 to 3 days; and for the blocking of the wisdom teeth, trauma is larger, the edema elimination time may be extended to about 5 to 7 days.
