Can rheumatoid arthritis be cured?

Abnormalities in uric acid metabolism are not self-curable and usually manifest as elevated uric acid. Uric acid is the end product of purine metabolism. Disorders of uric acid metabolism can cause hyperuricemia, gout and other disorders, with symptoms such as joint pain, joint swelling and joint deformity, which affect daily life. Hyperuricemia can be controlled by lifestyle modification and medication.
1. Lifestyle adjustment. Limit the intake of high-purine foods such as seafood, animal offal and thick meat soup, drink more water to promote uric acid excretion, and exercise appropriately.
2. Drugs. If hyperuricemia still exists through lifestyle adjustment, if necessary, follow the doctor’s instructions to take benzbromarone and other drugs to promote uric acid excretion, or febuxostat, allopurinol and other drugs to inhibit uric acid production.
It is recommended that patients with abnormal uric acid metabolism, especially hyperuricemia, make positive lifestyle adjustments and go to the hospital for standardized diagnosis and treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
