Rehabilitation training for patellar tendonitis includes strength training, patellar taping technique and physical factor therapy.
1. Strength training: atrophy of quadriceps muscle is one of the causes of all kinds of knee joint sports injuries. Regular centrifugal strength training can effectively reduce the pain level of patients with patellar tendonitis and improve the related symptoms.
2. Patellar taping technique: taping can effectively improve the collection capacity of muscle motor unit, promote blood circulation, relieve pain and correct the bad force structure of the joint. Patellofemoral taping technique can effectively improve the pain caused by knee injuries similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome, thus relieving the symptoms of patellar tendonitis patients.
3. Physical factor therapy: Physical factor therapy such as cold therapy, ultrasound therapy, electrotherapy, traction therapy and shockwave therapy have been used in the treatment of various types of musculoskeletal sports injuries, and most of the physical factors have a more significant effect on relieving pain, swelling and other symptoms of the musculoskeletal system.
Patients with patellar tendonitis are advised to train under the guidance of a doctor or therapist, and never train on their own to prevent secondary injuries.
