Common causes of urinary tract infections in women

The common causes of female urinary tract infections may be low body defense function, obstruction factors, medical factors, direct infection and so on. 1. Low body defense function: usually the presence of pathogenic bacteria in the urinary tract, when the urinary tract acid-base imbalance and the body’s immunity decline, the bacteria in the urinary system will rapidly multiply and grow, resulting in female urinary tract infection. 2. Obstruction factors: the general presence of urinary stones or congenital stenosis of the urinary tract and other factors can cause urinary tract obstruction, may also lead to female urinary tract infection. 3. Medical factors: medical procedures such as ureteral intubation and long-term indwelling urinary catheters are invasive and therefore may carry a risk of urinary tract infection. 4. Direct infection: The female urethra is relatively close to the anus and vagina, so during sex, it is easy to bring bacteria between the vagina and anus into the urethra, leading to direct infection. There are many other causes of urinary tract infections in women, and it is recommended that patients seek medical attention in a timely manner to clarify the cause of the disease and then undergo regular treatment.
