Viral Lymphadenitis Symptoms and Treatment

Viral lymphadenitis may present with persistent high fever and enlarged lymph nodes, high fever and other clinical manifestations. It can be treated with antiviral drugs. The disease is mainly caused by a decrease in antiviral resistance, resulting in lymphadenitis. Viral infections such as influenza virus infection may present with enlarged and painful lymph nodes. The enlarged lymph nodes have a smooth surface and localized redness and swelling. Abscesses are formed in severe cases. It is usually treated with antiviral drugs such as acyclovir, ganciclovir, ribavirin and amantadine. If necessary, intravenous drugs such as interleukin and interferon are given. Viral lymphadenitis should not be treated on its own, but should be treated as soon as possible and in accordance with the doctor’s instructions in order to avoid serious complications.
