Kawasaki disease is a disease characterized by systemic vasculitis, often with persistent fever. Kawasaki disease, also known as cutaneous mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome, is an acute febrile rash-like pediatric disease characterized by systemic vasculitis, often with persistent fever, accompanied by conjunctival congestion in both eyes, rigid edema of the hands and feet, swelling of the lymph nodes in the neck, and maculopapular or erythema multiforme-like rash. Kawasaki disease can often lead to heart damage, producing symptoms of myocarditis, pericarditis and endocarditis. In addition to this, Kawasaki disease can lead to complications such as coronary artery dilatation, gallbladder effusion, and arthritis. The treatment of Kawasaki disease patients should be carried out strictly according to the doctor’s instructions, and adhere to regular review after hospitalization.
