High lymphocytes and low large platelet ratio are mostly seen after chemotherapy for leukemia and other malignant tumors, aplastic anemia, autoimmune hemolytic anemia and so on.
1. After chemotherapy for leukemia and other malignant tumors: this condition will cause bone marrow suppression, resulting in bone marrow hematopoietic abnormality, which will lead to a decrease in whole blood components and a decrease in the ratio of large platelets. After chemotherapy, patients are prone to infections, etc., which activate the autoimmune mechanism and cause elevated lymphocytes.
2. Aplastic anemia: it is mainly due to the failure of bone marrow hematopoiesis caused by many reasons, which leads to the decrease of whole blood cells, mainly manifested as anemia, bleeding and infection. Therefore, patients will also have high lymphocytes and low ratio of large platelets.
3. Autoimmune hemolytic anemia: In this disease, if recrudescence crisis occurs due to infection, the bone marrow proliferation is low, the whole blood cells are reduced, and the proportion of platelets and large platelets may also be reduced. Because of the presence of infection, a blood picture with high lymphocytes is present.
In addition to the above diseases, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma can also cause these conditions. Of course, it may also occur by chance due to machines or individual reasons. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time, and give targeted treatment or therapy after completing the examination to clarify the cause of the disease under the guidance of the physician.
