Kong most belongs to the Taiyin Lung meridian of the hand, and can be stabbed directly with a millimillimeter needle when entering the needle.
Kong Mei is a Qie point of the Hand Taiyin Lung meridian. This point is located in the anterior region of the forearm, 7 inches above the transverse stripe on the distal side of the palm of the wrist, on the line between Shakuzawa (on the transverse stripe of the elbow, in the depression of the radial edge of the tendon of the biceps brachii muscle) and Taibiuchi (in the anterior region of the wrist, between the radial styloid process and the navicular bone, in the depression on the radial side of the tendon of the bunion flexor).
This point can be used for the treatment of coughing and hemoptysis, asthma, sore throat, elbow and arm spasms. When operating it, one can choose to stab it directly with a millimetre needle.
