Children with congenital hip subluxation can walk, but it may have some effect on their walking. A child with congenital hip subluxation can walk, but when the child learns to walk, he or she may develop a limp (unilateral subluxation) or a wobbly gait (bilateral subluxation), etc. Therefore, although a child with congenital hip subluxation can walk, it is not quite normal, and therefore intervention is also needed. The treatment of congenital hip dislocation in children is age-related, and the more severe the pathologic changes with age, the less effective the treatment. Therefore, when a child develops congenital hip dislocation, it should be taken seriously and go to a regular hospital in time for early intervention.
