Domestic 13-valent Pneumococcal Vaccine is known as 13-valent Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine (PPCV), which is used for the prevention of infectious diseases caused by pneumococcus of 13 serotypes contained in this product. The vaccine contains 13 serotypes of pneumococcus, namely 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, and 23F. The vaccine is intended for infants and children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years (before the 6th birthday). Common adverse reactions to this vaccine include fever, diarrhea, crying, cough, nausea and vomiting, and lethargy, which usually resolve spontaneously. Contraindications are hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients contained in this product, including excipients and tetanus toxoid.
