Kidney stones have been hidden pain in the abdomen, may be caused by stone stimulation or infection, should be treated with analgesic drugs, and appropriate lithotripsy treatment.
1. Medication: Because of the stimulation of local tissues caused by stones, it may cause vague pain in the abdomen, which can be improved by applying anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, such as ibuprofen and diclofenac sodium, to reduce the pain. When there is infection, antibiotic drugs should be used, such as amoxicillin, levofloxacin, to avoid further aggravation of infection.
2. Stone removal treatment: kidney stone diameter is small, such as less than 0.6 centimeters, should increase the amount of water, more urination, to promote the independent discharge of stones outward. When the diameter of the stone is larger than 0.6 centimeters, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy can be considered. For stones larger than 2 centimeters in diameter or when the effect of extracorporeal lithotripsy is unsatisfactory, percutaneous nephrolithotomy or surgical stone removal can be considered.
During the treatment, it is important to follow the doctor’s instructions and use reasonable medication for treatment.
