Ganoderma lucidum is sweet in taste and flat in nature. It enters the heart meridian and can replenish the heart blood, benefit the heart qi and calm the mind, so it can be used for treating the symptoms caused by insufficient qi and blood, loss of nourishment of the heart, such as restlessness, insomnia, palpitation, dreaming, forgetfulness, tiredness and fatigue (lack of mental energy), and poor appetite. Ganoderma lucidum has the function of tonifying qi and blood, so it can often be used to treat deficiency short-term, not think of food, cold hands and feet, or irritability and dry mouth, etc. It is often used with Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, ginseng, dihuang, etc. to supplement the deficiency of the medicine.
