There is a difference between Hematophagus and Blood Stasis Tang and Diaphragm and Blood Stasis Tang in terms of drug composition, efficacy, and treatment of diseases. For example, the efficacy of Blood and Blood Stasis Tang is to activate blood circulation, remove blood stasis, move qi and relieve pain (by regulating the body’s qi to relieve pain); the efficacy of Diaphragm Under Blood Stasis Tang is to activate blood circulation, remove blood stasis, break the symptoms and eliminate the lumps and knots. There is a difference in the efficacy of the two drugs.
Blood and Blood Stasis Dispersing Tang is composed of peach kernel, safflower, angelica sinensis, Radix et rhizoma, hyssop, Rhizoma ligustici Chuanxiong and Platycodon grandiflorus; while Blood and Blood Stasis Dispersing Tang is composed of peach kernel, safflower, Wu Lingyi, danpi, Yuanhu, Rhizoma ligustici Chuanxiong and angelica sinensis. There is a difference in the composition of the two drugs.
Hematophagus and Blood Stasis Tang is used for treating blood stasis in the chest, chest pain and headache that does not heal for a long time, pain like pins and needles, and pain in a fixed place; while Diaphragm Under Blood Stasis Tang is used for treating stasis under the diaphragm, which forms lumps, or children’s lumps, which do not move in pain, and abdominal drop when lying down. The two drugs treat different conditions.
