Poplar root, i.e. kiwi root, is effective in treating gastrointestinal tumors and lung cancer. Stone reed, i.e., stoneweed, has no clear research showing its therapeutic effect on cancer.
Kiwifruit root is effective in clearing heat and removing toxins, dispelling wind and dampness, activating blood circulation and subduing swellings, and is mainly used for treating hepatitis, dysentery, rheumatism and paralysis pains, bruises, gonorrhea, leucorrhoea, scrofula (mainly refers to tuberculosis of lymph nodes of the neck), sores, indigestion, etc. It is not recommended to be taken by pregnant women. It is not recommended for pregnant women. Modern research shows that this product also has anti-tumor biological activity, clinically used in the treatment of digestive tract tumors.
Shi Wei has the effects of diuretic and diaphoretic (improving the problem of dribbling in urine and urination), clearing the lungs and relieving cough, cooling the blood and stopping bleeding. It is used for heat drenching (obvious burning and stinging pain when urinating, accompanied by frequent urination and urgency, and discomfort of traction in the abdomen), blood drenching (the appearance of blood in the urine accompanied by pain), incontinence of urine, astringency and pain of dribbling, and lung-heat asthma and cough.
It can also be used in the treatment of stonorrhea (discharge of gravel during urination, or sudden interruption of urination, pain in the urethra, intolerable pain in the lower back and abdomen), hematemesis, epistaxis, blood in urine, and metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling). Adverse reactions and contraindications are not known.
