Peilan, with the effects of resolving dampness and relieving summer heat. It is used in treating dampness obstructing the middle Jiao (dampness obstructing the functions of the spleen and stomach), summer dampness, and dampness-warmth (warmth caused by feeling dampness and heat) at the beginning of the disease. Caution should be exercised if there is deficiency of yin, dryness of blood, or deficiency of qi.
