How to differentiate rheumatoid arthritis from rheumatoid arthritis

Identification of rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis is mainly from four aspects: age, gender, etiology, symptoms, and laboratory findings.
1. Age and gender: rheumatoid arthritis patients generally have a young age of onset, most often seen in the age of 5 to 15 years old, the proportion of male and female incidence is equal, while rheumatoid arthritis is different, most often seen in the middle-aged women, most often occurring in the age of 35 to 50 years old.
2. Etiology: Rheumatoid arthritis is mostly caused by bacterial infections, while rheumatoid arthritis is mostly caused by a variety of reasons, mostly related to genetics, the environment, infections and other factors, mainly manifested as synovitis.
3. Symptoms: Rheumatoid arthritis involves large joints and generally does not cause joint deformities, while rheumatoid arthritis mainly involves small joints, often manifested in the proximal interphalangeal joints, and sometimes large joints, which can lead to joint deformities with the development of the disease.
4. Laboratory tests: Rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by elevated anti-streptococcal hemolysin “O”, while rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by elevated rheumatoid factor and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies.
Rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis can be identified in many ways, patients are advised to go to the rheumatology and immunology department of regular hospitals and other related departments for detailed consultation.
