Efficacy and effects of Schisandra chinensis and floating wheat taken together

Schisandra chinensis taken with floating wheat has the efficacy of benefiting qi and restraining sweating, nourishing yin and promoting the production of body fluid. It is used in treating sweating symptoms caused by deficiency of qi and yin, such as spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with a little movement), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, but sweating stops after waking up), and dry mouth, sweating, and drowsiness caused by injury of qi and fluids.
1. Benefit qi and astringent sweating: Schisandra chinensis is sour and sweet in nature, with warm medicinal properties. Sourness can astringent and sweetness can tonify, so Schisandra chinensis has the efficacy of astringent and astringent (astringent consolidation), benefiting qi and generating jin (promoting the generation of jin by tonifying the qi), tonifying the kidneys and tranquilizing the heart; fucoidan is sweet in taste and cool, and is attributed to the heart meridian. Fucoidan has the efficacy of fixing the epidermal surface and stopping sweating (stopping sweating by consolidating the epidermal surface of the muscle), as well as reducing the effects of deficiency heat.
Taken together, the two can enhance each other’s qi and astringent sweating effect, especially for qi and yin deficiency caused by spontaneous sweating, night sweating and other sweating.
2. Nourishing Yin and generating fluids: Schisandra chinensis has the effect of generating fluids and quenching thirst, and floating wheat can benefit the qi and yin and get rid of deficiency heat. Combining the two can nourish yin and promote the production of fluids, and can be used to relieve dry mouth, sweating, drowsiness and weakness caused by injuries to both qi and fluids.
