High blood pressure of 260 mmhg is classified as Grade 3 hypertension, which is a high-risk condition even without other risk factors. It is easy to produce damage to the heart, brain, kidney, retina, etc. and should be taken seriously. 1. Heart: long-term high blood pressure will increase the afterload of the heart, which will easily lead to subendocardial myocardial ischemia when oxygen consumption increases. 2. Brain: Hypertension is an important cause of cerebral atherosclerosis, plaque rupture can be complicated by cerebral thrombosis. 3. Kidney: long-term hypertension can lead to glomerular atrophy, renal arteriosclerosis, with serious consequences of chronic renal failure. 4. Retina: Hypertension can lead to spasm of small retinal arteries, and gradually sclerosis. Diagnosis of hypertension requires multiple blood pressure measurements, three measurements of blood pressure not on the same day, systolic blood pressure ≥140mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥90mmHg. hypertension cannot be diagnosed on the basis of a single blood pressure value, and should be measured multiple times. Normal blood pressure should be 90-120mmHg systolic and 60-80mmHg diastolic. It is recommended that patients should be actively treated to prevent complications.
