The difference between a boil and a pimple

Acne is generally referred to as acne, and the difference between boils and acne includes clinical manifestations, site of onset, age of onset and other aspects.
1. Clinical manifestations: boils are usually solitary, with red protrusions in the early stage, accompanied by obvious pain, and dominated by papules and pustules; acne is typically manifested as pimples, which are usually multiple and small in appearance, and further development of pimples will evolve into a variety of inflammatory lesions, which are manifested as inflammatory papules, pustules, nodules and cysts.
2. Location: Boils can occur anywhere on the body, such as on the back of the chest, armpits, etc. However, acne is more likely to occur on the face, sometimes involving the neck.
3. Age of onset: Boils can occur at any stage of life regardless of age, but acne is more common in adolescents, hence the name acne.
When boils or acne appear on the body, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital in a timely manner and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
