Generally speaking, Engeletin tablets are beneficial in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. The disadvantage is that it may cause a series of adverse effects, such as low blood pressure, kidney injury, ketoacidosis and so on. Engeletin Tablet monotherapy coupled with dietary control and moderate exercise can significantly improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. If metformin hydrochloride alone cannot control blood glucose, it can be used in combination with metformin hydrochloride to improve blood glucose control in patients with type 2 diabetes. After the administration of Engelezin tablets, some patients may experience adverse reactions such as hypotension, ketoacidosis, acute renal impairment, urinary sepsis, bone fracture, combined insulin and insulinotropic agent-associated hypoglycemia, fungal infection of the genitals, and elevation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol.
