What are the symptoms of heart failure?

The manifestations of left heart failure include dyspnea, coughing up sputum and oliguria, while the manifestations of right heart failure include abdominal distension, lack of appetite, and bilateral lower extremity edema.
Left heart failure can lead to different degrees of dyspnea due to pulmonary circulation stasis, including post-exertional dyspnea, telangiectasia, nocturnal paroxysmal dyspnea and even acute pulmonary edema, as well as coughing, coughing sputum and even hemoptysis; and it can also lead to weakness, dizziness, oliguria, and other symptoms of insufficient perfusion of the organs due to insufficient cardiac output.
Right heart failure may cause digestive symptoms such as abdominal distension, lack of appetite, nausea, etc., due to stagnation of the body circulation; it may also cause signs such as bilateral lower extremity edema, hepatomegaly, and jugular vein raging.
If total heart failure occurs, there may be a combination of both of these heart failure manifestations, while the dyspnea symptoms of pulmonary stasis may be reduced due to decreased blood excretion in right heart failure.
Patients with heart failure need to consult a hospital for further treatment.
