Nails from soft to hard may be related to nail psoriasis, onychomycosis and other diseases.
1. Nail psoriasis: the cause of this disease is not yet clear, may be genetic, environmental and immune factors, clinical manifestations of nail pitting, thimble-like depression, hyperkeratosis under the nails, etc., and some patients will have the symptom of nails from soft to hard.
2. Onychomycosis: refers to the nail lesions caused by dermatophytes invading the nail plate and under the nail. The etiology is mostly related to dermatophyte infection, but may also be related to nail trauma, impaired immune system and other factors. The main symptoms are cloudy nail plate, abnormal thickening of nail bed and uneven surface.
