Symptoms of neonatal colic are mainly characterized by paroxysmal crying and restlessness, sometimes abdominal distension, abdominal wall tension and other symptoms.
Neonatal colic is intestinal spasm, mainly due to paroxysmal strong contraction of the smooth muscle of the intestinal wall, often resulting in sudden paroxysmal abdominal pain, the duration of which may be 3~5 minutes, or may be a few 10 minutes, but most of them will be relieved on their own, and individual neonatal colic will recur for several days.
