How to detect overactive bladder syndrome

Overactive bladder disease can be diagnosed by the patient’s clinical symptoms and laboratory tests, imaging tests, special tests and other measures. 1. Clinical Symptoms: Patients mainly present with symptoms such as urinary frequency, urinary urgency, urge incontinence and nocturia. Some patients also have perineal and suprapubic pain. 2. Laboratory tests: urine culture and urine routine can exclude urinary tract infection and other diseases. 3. Imaging tests: ultrasonography can rule out diseases that cause residual urine to form in the bladder and reduce bladder capacity. 4. Special tests: Uroflowmetry can rule out diseases such as prostatic hyperplasia; urodynamic tests can support the diagnosis of overactive bladder. Overactive bladder can be diagnosed through the above tests, and after diagnosis, the patient should actively cooperate with the doctor to receive treatment to improve the symptoms.
