Do myopic ok lenses work?

OK lenses are called keratoplasty lenses, which are useful in preventing and controlling the growth of myopia.
Keratoplasty lenses are rigid corneal contact lenses that are usually worn at night to change the shape of the cornea. After the refractive power of the cornea has been changed, patients can see very clearly during the daytime without glasses, but when keratoplasty lenses are not worn, the nearsightedness will regress to the level of the pre-wearing level.
Keratoplasty lenses can prevent and control further increase of myopia by mechanical compression and other effects, promoting the central thinning of the cornea, flattening the curvature, and restoring the normal corneal shape.
When patients experience myopia, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner and reconsider whether to use OK lenses to correct myopia according to the doctor’s advice.
