Kidney deficiency in women can be categorized into kidney qi deficiency, kidney yang deficiency and kidney yin deficiency. Symptoms and manifestations are different depending on the type of evidence. Kidney qi deficiency is characterized by fatigue (mental exhaustion and physical weakness), kidney yang deficiency is characterized by coldness and infertility, and kidney yin deficiency is characterized by heat (heat in the heart of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of heat in the heart and chest).
Kidney qi deficiency is characterized by irregular menstruation, lumbar and knee pain, tinnitus and deafness, fatigue, frequent urination at night, long and clear urination, incomplete urination (after urination, there are still a few drops or a small section of urine overflowing from the opening of the urethra), and a large amount of scanty diarrhea.
The manifestations of Kidney-Yang deficiency in women include scanty leukorrhea, frigid libido, infertility with uterine cold, pain in the waist and knees, fear of cold and cold limbs, especially in the lower limbs, and fatigue.
The symptoms of Kidney-Yin deficiency in women include scanty menstrual flow, pain in the waist and knees, amenorrhea, tinnitus and dizziness, insomnia and excessive dreaming, emaciation, hot flashes and night sweats (sweating abnormally after falling asleep, but sweating stops after waking up), heartburn and heatiness, zygomatic redness (reddish color of the cheeks and cheekbones), dryness of the throat, and so on.
Women with the above symptoms and manifestations of kidney deficiency should go to the hospital as soon as possible for consultation and active treatment.
