Indocyte carcinoma is a mucus-secreting adenocarcinoma that occurs mostly in the gastrointestinal tract. Indocyte carcinoma of the colon is a type of colon cancer. It originates from the mucosal epithelium, and the large amount of mucus in the cytoplasm of the cancer cells causes the nucleus of the cells to be squeezed to one side, so that the cancer cells appear as an “imprinted ring” when viewed under the microscope. Indendymal cell carcinoma has a higher degree of malignancy, and mostly occurs in the gastrointestinal tract, and some of them also occur in the breast, pancreas, bladder and so on. It is rare in clinic, with high degree of malignancy, and is not very sensitive to radiotherapy, so it is usually treated with radical surgery, selective chemotherapy, targeted therapy and other comprehensive treatments. It is suggested that those who are diagnosed with colon impression cell carcinoma should consult the doctor in time, and under the doctor’s guidance, they should be actively treated according to their individual conditions.
