It has the efficacy of promoting the lung to stop coughing, relieving the surface and dispersing cold (removing the cold from the muscle surface). Tongxuanliang Pill is used for colds and coughs caused by wind-cold bundling the surface, etc., with symptoms of nasal congestion and runny nose, fever, malignant cold, absence of sweating, headache, cough, and limb aches and pains. Adverse reactions are not clear. This product is not suitable for those with dry cough due to yin deficiency, wind-heat or phlegm-heat cough.
