Can endometriosis of the abdominal wall become cancerous?

Abdominal wall endometriosis is a pathologic type of endometriosis that is rarely cancerous.
The main malignant part of endometriosis is usually in the ovary, and malignant changes in other parts are very rare. For endometriosis with changes in pain pattern, ovarian cysts larger than 10cm, imaging tests suggesting malignant signs, and serum CA125 larger than 200U/ml, patients should be alerted to the possibility of malignant changes.
For abdominal wall endometriosis, patients often come to the outpatient clinic because they find nodules on the abdominal wall and experience pain related to the menstrual cycle. Surgery is generally recommended for symptomatic patients, and gynecology outpatient clinic is recommended if there are other related symptoms and standardized treatment is provided under the guidance of gynecologists.
