How to Rehabilitate Shoulder Pain

Rehabilitation training methods for shoulder joint pain include shoulder joint loosening, shoulder joint active training, shoulder muscle strength training and so on.
1. Shoulder joint loosening: assist the patient to take the supine position, massage the muscles around the shoulder, and after relaxing the muscle tissues, carry out the operation of separating and traction, forward-backward sliding, backward-forward sliding, abduction swing, external rotation swing and internal rotation swing for the parts of the patient that have obvious pain and limitation of the joint as well as the parts that are adhered and contracted, with the intensity of the manipulation based on the patient’s tolerance.
2. Active shoulder joint training: assist the patient to take the forward position, instruct the patient to swing the big arm forward and backward, inside and outside, and around the arm, and the swing amplitude is gradually increased, and also carry out the finger climbing stairs and shoulder ladder exercises, which can make the pain symptoms relieved.
3. Shoulder muscle strength training: muscle strength exercises include open and closed, the former includes a variety of forms of side lifting, all done in isolation, relying on the shoulder force, and then move the weight with the help of the arm; the latter training patients need to take a seated position, only with the shoulder force, prompting the elbows to abduct and move at a uniform speed.
In addition, physical factor therapy such as infrared rays, interference with electricity, ice and other methods can be added to relieve pain.
Shoulder pain patients are advised to seek medical attention and rehabilitation treatment as soon as possible to avoid delaying the condition.
