What about high alt?

ALT refers to alanine aminotransferase. Elevated alanine aminotransferase can be seen in poor lifestyle, taking certain hepatotoxic drugs, and fatty liver, cholelithiasis, acute infarction and other disease states; the former caused by the need to adjust the lifestyle or stop the drug, and the latter caused by the need to be under the guidance of the doctor to carry out targeted treatment, such as medication, general treatment and so on. 1. Adverse lifestyle or medication factors: if strenuous exercise, late night, overwork before the examination can cause ghrelin elevation, such cases should be avoided to stay up late, overwork and strenuous exercise and other bad lifestyle. Taking methimazole, isoniazid can also cause ALT elevation, which can be restored after stopping the medication according to the doctor’s instruction. 2. Fatty liver: obese patients should actively reduce weight, alcoholics should quit drinking; accompanied by elevated lipids can be treated with lipid-lowering drugs such as fenofibrate. 3. Cholelithiasis: diclofenac and other drugs can be used to relieve pain during acute attack, ursodeoxycholic acid and other drugs can be used for choleretic treatment, but should not be used for combined biliary obstruction; if biliary colic recurrence, the number of stones and long diameter need to be considered for surgical treatment. 4. Acute infarction: absolute bed rest, thrombolytic therapy with urokinase and other drugs can be used, and interventional therapy can also be considered. It is recommended to go to the hospital after exclusion of ALT elevation caused by bad lifestyle, and the drugs should be used according to the doctor’s prescription.
