What to Prepare for Tubal Ligation

The preparation before tubal ligation mainly involves determining the time of operation, conducting physical examination, keeping fasting and urination.
1. Determine the operation time: Tubal ligation needs to avoid menstruation, and can be performed within 3~7 days after menstruation.
2. Physical examination: Before the surgery, you need to have a physical examination, including leukorrhea routine, blood and urine routine, coagulation function, liver function, etc., and chest X-ray if necessary.
3. Keep an empty stomach: you need to have an empty stomach before tubal ligation or after eating for 4 hours to avoid vomiting during the operation.
4. Urination: You need to urinate before the operation to empty your bladder for the operation.
Patients should comply with the doctor’s requirements before surgery, avoid eating without authorization, and maintain a good state of mind.
