Usually, a cure for gout does not exist. Gout can not be completely cured at present, long-term standardized management is needed, and the development of the disease can generally be controlled through general treatment and drug therapy. 1. General treatment: stop smoking and limit alcohol, reduce the intake of fructose-rich beverages, try to avoid seafood, animal offal and other high-purine food intake, but also need to prevent strenuous exercise or sudden exposure to cold, and maintain adequate sleep. 2. Drug therapy: mainly through the use of drugs to inhibit uric acid production, such as allopurinol, and promote uric acid excretion of drugs such as benzbromarone to achieve the purpose of lowering uric acid. (1) Allopurinol: mainly through the inhibition of xanthine oxidase to inhibit the production of uric acid, adverse effects include gastrointestinal symptoms, skin rash, drug fever, elevated liver enzymes, bone marrow inhibition. (2) Benzbromarone: mainly through the inhibition of renal tubular absorption of uric acid to increase uric acid excretion, in order to reduce blood uric acid. Adverse reactions often include gastrointestinal symptoms, skin rash, renal colic, granulocytopenia. Medication should be used in accordance with medical advice. Gout is currently not curable and requires long-term standardized management. It is recommended that gout patients should go to the hospital in a timely manner, under the guidance of the doctor standardized treatment.
