Milk quantity standard for babies of various months of age

There is no particularly specific standardized value for the amount of milk for babies, there is only a general reference range and the amount of milk for babies should be adjusted according to the age of the month and their weight. In general, the amount of milk should be fed at 150ml per kilogram of body weight. Newborn babies need 30-60ml of milk each time, 6-8 times a day; one month old babies need 80-120ml of milk each time, but not more than 150ml, and need to be fed once in about 3-4 hours. At 2-3 months, each time you need to feed 150-200ml, 5-6 times a day; 3-6 months of babies each time you need to feed 200-250ml of milk, but not more than 1000ml a day, and 6 months should start to add complementary foods. It should be noted that there are individual differences in the amount of breastfeeding for each baby. If the amount of breastfeeding per feeding is small, it is necessary to relatively increase the number of feedings to ensure that the amount of breastfeeding throughout the day. However, if the amount of food is larger, then the number of feedings can be reduced appropriately. Therefore, the amount of milk can be adjusted according to the needs of your own baby, as long as it is roughly within the reference range.
