How to take sacubitril valsartan tablets

Sacubitril valsartan tablets, or sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets, are to be taken as 100mg twice daily and should be used as directed by a physician. Sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets instructions state that this product may be taken on an empty stomach or with food. The usual starting dose is 100mg twice a day. In the case of people who have not taken angiotensin receptor antagonists the starting dose is 50mg once, twice a day. Depending on the condition, the dose may be increased every 2 to 4 weeks until a maintenance dose of 200mg twice a day is reached. Sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets are used in chronic heart failure with hypertension and low ejection fraction. Common adverse reactions include renal impairment, hyperkalemia, and hypotension. The drug is contraindicated in severe hepatic impairment, mid to late pregnancy, angioedema, and hypersensitivity to the product. Specific use should be under the guidance of a doctor.
