Luo Han Guo with honey can treat lung dryness and cough, intestinal dryness and constipation.
Luo Han Guo is into the large intestine meridian and lung meridian, has the effect of moistening the lungs and clearing heat, moistening the intestines and laxatives, and facilitating the pharynx and sound. Clinically, it can treat cough, yellow sputum and dry throat caused by lung heat; it can also improve pharyngeal sound, treat cough, sore throat and hoarseness caused by lung dryness; it can also moisten the bowels and relieve constipation, and treat constipation caused by intestinal dryness. Adverse reactions are still uncertain, lung cold and external cough should not be used.
Honey can moisten dryness, tonifying the spleen and stomach, pain relief. It is useful for the dry cough of lung dryness; it is helpful for the pain in the epigastrium and abdomen of spleen and stomach weakness; it can also relieve constipation of intestinal dryness. It should be used with caution in cases of dampness obstruction, damp-heat phlegm stagnation, loose stools (thin and unformed feces) or diarrhea, as the adverse effects are not certain.
