Systemic metastasis can occur in advanced stages of liver cancer, including metastasis to the bowel. Therefore, liver cancer will metastasize to intestine. In late stage, liver cancer can be transferred to small intestine, colon, rectum and other parts of the body through bloodway, and form tumor in intestine, which may have no obvious clinical manifestations in early stage, and with the growth of intestinal metastatic foci, it will gradually cause symptoms such as blood in stool, constipation, abdominal pain, abdominal mass and so on. After liver cancer metastasis to the intestine, it belongs to the advanced stage of liver cancer, which is more difficult to treat. Patients usually lose the chance of surgery at this time, and palliative radiotherapy, chemotherapy, interventional therapy and targeted drugs are mostly used to help patients shrink the lesions and reduce their symptoms. Liver cancer patients should actively take surgical treatment to prevent liver cancer metastasis at the early stage of discovery, and early treatment can significantly prolong the survival period of patients and delay the recurrence and metastasis of the tumor.
