Rectal polyp cancer means that the patient develops rectal cancer. In the clinic, patients with intestinal polyp cancer means the development of rectal cancer, intestinal polyp is the surface of the mucosa of the rectum to the intestinal lumen protruding elevated lesions, although called “polyps”, but is not a muscle tissue, but a class of abnormal growth of tissue. Whether or not rectal polyps are malignant and the chances of malignancy mainly depends on the pathology of rectal polyps. Rectal polyps are clinically divided into four types: inflammatory polyps; hyperplastic polyps; chorioallantoic polyps; tubular adenomatous polyps. The latter two types of polyps have a higher chance of malignancy, which can occur in very small sizes. Studies have shown that the greater the number of polyps and the longer the follow-up period, the greater the probability of recurrence and the risk of cancer. At present, endoscopic mucosal resection is widely used in the treatment of digestive tract polyps, early cancer and other diseases. If the patient develops into the middle or late stage of rectal cancer, it is necessary to combine radiotherapy and chemotherapy with surgical treatment. It should be noted that patients with cancerous rectal polyps can reduce the adverse effects of the disease through “early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment”, and many of them may survive for a long time, so it is recommended that patients set up confidence in the treatment, and must not be discouraged, so as not to cause delay in the condition.
