Clinically, it is mainly used for treating hematochezia, hemorrhagic drenching (the appearance of blood in urine with pain), prolapse of anus and diarrhea, impediment in the abdomen (the appearance of tangible or intangible lumps in the abdomen, with a feeling of distension and pain), fetid drinking, and diarrhea in spleen deficiency.
