Bilateral basal ganglia cavernous cerebral infarction is a type of cerebral infarction in which occlusive blockage of tiny arteries located in the basal ganglia region of the skull occurs, thus causing ischemic necrosis of the corresponding brain tissues within the skull.
The disease is mainly based on hypertension, arteriosclerotic lesions, diabetes mellitus and other diseases, some tiny arteries in the brain are occluded, which causes ischemia and necrosis of the brain tissues in the bilateral basal ganglia region within the skull.
Most of the patients do not have typical clinical symptoms, or just have mild dizziness, headache, slow reaction, poor concentration and mild limb numbness.
