Symptoms of an unconscious person before awakening

Symptoms of an unconscious person before awakening include eye movement, stabilization of vital signs, and response to external stimuli.

1. Moving eyes: The patient may not be able to open his eyes at this time. If the patient’s eyeballs can turn from side to side, it means that the degree of coma has become shallow.

2. Vital signs tend to be stable: including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, oxygen saturation, body temperature and other basic conditions, if they have been gradually stabilized, without the need for medical intervention, liver and kidney function, electrolytes and so on tend to be normal, it means that the patient’s condition tends to improve.

3. Respond to external stimuli: for example, give the patient some pain stimulation, if the patient appears to have a frown, limbs will move, and so on, and even can do some simple instructions, may indicate that the patient is about to wake up.
