Uneven enhancement of the breast does not determine the benign or malignant nature. Contrast enhancement is the observation of the blood supply of a lesion after injection of contrast material in CT and MR examinations. Uneven enhancement of the breast means that the blood supply of the lesion is uneven, with more localized blood supply and less localized blood supply. Due to the abundance and uneven distribution of blood vessels, malignant lesions are prone to show uneven enhancement of the breast. However, some inflammatory lesions or hemangiomas may also show uneven enhancement of the breast if the blood vessels are dense, unevenly distributed, and rapidly perfused. Therefore, the appearance of uneven enhancement of the lesion can still be judged only by pathological examination. If the diagnosis of malignant tumor is confirmed, it is recommended that the patient undergoes surgical treatment, postoperative radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other adjuvant treatments to carry out comprehensive treatment, and can also be combined with the use of targeted drugs.
