Can breast cancer that has spread to the underarm lymph be cured?

It is still possible to cure breast cancer that has spread to the axillary lymph. However, it still needs to be analyzed according to the size of the breast lump, whether it is metastatic or not, and the physical condition of the patient. According to TNM staging standards, most of the breast cancer spreading to axillary lymph is in stage II and has not yet metastasized and spread to the distal organs, so most patients have a better prognosis if they undergo timely surgery to remove the tumor at the metastatic site and the surrounding lymph nodes, and then adopt radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy according to the results of pathological examination. Only a small part of highly malignant breast cancer patients may have recurrence and metastasis after surgery, which may jeopardize their lives. Therefore, it is suggested that we should actively carry out standardized treatment, and even if lymph node metastasis occurs, the cure rate is still larger.
