People who have these habits, beware of becoming a small sugar man

Many people have been under the illusion that diabetes is a “disease of affluence”. With the improvement of living standards, the number of people suffering from diabetes in China has shown a spurt of growth. According to the latest statistics from the Health and Welfare Commission, the number of adults with diabetes in China has exceeded 110 million. Many patients do not know enough about its seriousness and the treatment rate is low, which leads to a high incidence of diabetes complications in China, a high death and disability rate of patients, and a greatly reduced quality of life. In this way, it is particularly important to know about the prevention and treatment of diabetes. Modern medicine classifies diabetes into two main types according to the damage of islet cells, namely type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. type 1 diabetes patients themselves are unable to secrete or do not secrete enough insulin due to genetic or autoimmune attack on islet cells, resulting in damage to islet cells, and need to be treated with insulin for life. The incidence of diabetes in adults in China is mostly type 2, accounting for more than 90%, and poor lifestyle is the main reason for type 2 diabetes. 1, the diet is not moderate Scientific research has found that obesity can cause insulin resistance, is the main culprit leading to type 2 diabetes. In addition, obese people are also more likely to suffer from hypertension and dyslipidemia, which are all high-risk factors for diabetes. Therefore, obese people must lose weight, daily attention to control the intake of high sugar, high fat and other calorie higher food. 2, sedentary China’s diabetes guidelines have identified sedentary is a high risk factor for diabetes. Therefore, a good habit of exercise should be developed on a daily basis. Exercise not only helps to lose weight and reduce insulin resistance, but also helps to prevent the occurrence of diseases such as stroke. 3, anxiety Modern society is a fast-paced life, prone to stress, anxiety and other emotions. And too much stress will increase the risk of diabetes, especially for patients receiving long-term antipsychotic drugs and (or) antidepressant medication. It is recommended that in the face of stress, to master some stress reduction methods, such as through yoga, meditation, listening to music, confide in the detoxification of bad emotions, can be beneficial to physical and mental health, to prevent the occurrence of disease. 4, smoking and drinking alcohol Based on data from developed countries, the risk of type 2 diabetes in smokers increases by 14%-44% compared to non-smokers. Some short-term, small-sample prospective studies based on the Chinese population also found that smoking and alcohol consumption may increase the risk of diabetes by up to 1.42 times! It is recommended that the above high-risk groups improve their bad habits, stay away from diabetes and embrace a healthy life. References [1] Dale, C. E., Fatemifar, G., Palmer, T.
