Clinically there is no such thing as the top ten proprietary Chinese medicines for treating Yang deficiency and cold dampness, but the commonly used proprietary Chinese medicines for treating Yang deficiency and cold dampness are Jisheng Kidney Qi Pill, Ginseng Pill, Jin Gui Kidney Qi Pill, and so on.
1. Jisheng Kidney Qi Pill: It has the effect of warming the kidney and transforming qi, inducing diuresis and eliminating edema. It is used for the treatment of kidney deficiency and edema due to deficiency of kidney yang (lack of yang qi in the kidney), water-dampness internal stagnation (water-dampness stays in the body), soreness and heaviness in the waist and knees, and phlegm-drinking (pathological product formed by impaired metabolism of water and fluid) coughing and asthma. Contraindications are not clear.
2. Ginseng and Forsythia Strong Heart Pill: It has the effects of benefiting qi and boosting yang (promoting the generation of yang qi by tonifying qi), strengthening the heart and inducing diuresis (enhancing the function of the heart to induce diuresis). It is used for the treatment of palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), shortness of breath, chest tightness and wheezing (shortness of breath), etc., which belongs to the decline of yang in the heart and kidneys. Pregnant women are forbidden to take it, and a low-salt diet is recommended.
3. Jin Gui Kidney Qi Pill: with the effects of warming and tonifying kidney yang (warming and replenishing kidney yang qi), transforming qi to move water (promoting the operation of gas, thus promoting the operation of water), it is used for treating kidney deficiency and edema, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (feeling of lumbar and knee soreness and weakness), urinary incontinence (unsmooth urination), and fear of coldness and limb coldness (fear of coldness, cold limbs), and other symptoms. It is contraindicated in pregnant women.
