Job’s tear grains, also known as Coix Seed, can be used to treat spleen deficiency and diarrhea, edema, lung carbuncle, and dysuria (unsmooth urination).
The effects of Job’s tears are to disperse knots and detoxify, remove paralysis and expel pus, strengthen the spleen to stop diarrhea, and seep dampness and diuresis. It can be used to treat numbness, swelling and impotence of the feet, often combined with drugs such as hyssop, cypress and atractylodes, for example, Si Miao Pill.
This product can also eliminate carbuncle and drain pus, used for intestinal carbuncle (carbuncle occurring in the intestines and bowels, manifested by fever, pain in the right abdomen and palpable lump), lung carbuncle, often combined with drugs such as dongguanren, peach kernel, mudanpi, septoria, and so on.
This product can be used for diarrhea, spleen deficiency, often used in conjunction with Atractylodes macrocephala, ginseng, poria and other drugs. It can also be used for urinary incontinence, edema, edema and other conditions, often paired with drugs such as Cangzhu, Poria, Fenghui, papaya and so on.
The adverse reactions of Coix lacryma are not clear. Patients who are not feeling well are advised to consult a doctor in a timely manner, and use the drug reasonably under the guidance of a physician.
